Spring Break at Avila Beach

We spent spring break down at Avila Beach near San Luis Obispo. My parents rented a townhome just a block from the beach and we had a great time visiting with them and my sister. The first full day there the weather was gorgeous--perfect for Lorelei to stick her toes in the sand and the water!

We set up camp under the yacht club deck for a good mix of sun and shade. Here is Lorelei on the blanket with her toys...she is so precious!

The beach and ocean from Lorelei's perspective.
Here is Lorelei getting her toes wet! Despite the face at the end of this video, she did not cry and seemed to find her first experience with the Pacific Ocean not too bad.

Wrapped up in the beach towel to dry off and warm up!
Lorelei enjoyed spending time with her grandparents.

On Friday we visited the Avila Valley Barn where they have lots of animals to look at, fresh produce, homemade pies, and other goodies. Lorelei enjoyed the animals!

Later that afternoon, Anne, my mom, and myself went wine tasting at the Edna Valley Vineyard. Lorelei played outside with Steve and Grandpa Ray. (Check out the beautiful view behind Lorelei--Anne lives in south county now and it is so pretty!)

Uncle Steve was out of town the first couple of days, but made it back for a family day on Saturday. We bbq-ed, played games, and celebrated Anne's 25th birthday.

Sisters and Steves :)
