On the Move! June 2010
June was a busy and exciting month! School (finally) let out on the 14th and I became a stay-at-home-mom for the summer. In fact, I jumped into the whole SAHM thing with both feet as Steve left for a week in Woods Hole/Boston on June 13th. We missed him, but Lorelei and I quickly established a good summer routine that included naps, walks, swings, friends, trips to Clayton, and our first swim lesson! (There will be a whole post on swim lessons coming soon!) Lorelei hit a major milestone this month--crawling! Her first "official" crawl was while Steve was out of town, just a few days before her 9 month birthday. She does a sweet little army crawl (I ought to attach a swifter to her belly!).
Lorelei also loves books...in fact, you might say she devourers them. :)
Speaking of books, for Steve's first Father's Day I made him a picture book of his adventures with Lorelei. It turned out pretty cute and I hope they'll both enjoy it for years. You can see a copy here.

It was a big scary step for us, but we are excited to have our own place to call home.
